March 4, 2010

Hello, Everybody!

Ed here with more news from the Mediterranean. Well, March came in like a lion cub with that mini burst of bad weather on the first. Let's hope it goes out like a lamb, ushering in a warm April in time for the upcoming (early) Easter.

Speaking of Easter

Don't wait 'til last minute to order your lamb roasts and appetizer platters. With both Western and Orthodox Easters coming on the same day (April 4th, just one month away!) we want to make sure that everyone has a happy holiday, and no one is left out.

Begin This Holiday Season Early

Join us this Saturday, March 6th, from Noon - 3PM. At that time, Gary Kline of Iberian Wine Importers will be presenting some fine new wines from Spain, including, "Alate," a 100% Tempranillo that is both KOSHER and delicious. Appetizers made by Nick, Greg, and Ed will be served.

Upcoming Events

March 20th - A Two Table tasting of '05 Bordeauxs

March 26th - A Very Special tasting of Israeli wines that are Kosher for Passover.

March 27th - More Spanish Wines - Quality and Value Combined.

Please put us on your calendar.

Something New Has Been Added

Our search for new products has led us to three really fine and interesting cheeses. We now proudly offer, "The Drunken Goat," a wine washed semi-soft Goat Cheese, a Domestic Goat milk aged Gouda (sharp and full flavored), and a Farmstead Cheddar from Landaff Creamery of Jasper Hills, NH (absolutely heavenly). Come in for a taste - we're sure you'll love them as much as we do.

And, as always, thanks for shopping with us. -Ed
